Flix’d: About
Movie Parody Comics. 'Nuff Said.

Flix'd is all about movie parodies in the form of web comics. Needless to say, the comics include spoilers, and I suggest reading them only if you saw the movie.

My name is Philipp Lenssen and I'm from Germany. You can email me at philipp.lenssen@gmail.com. I like to hear your comments and suggestions.

What does the name "Flix'd" mean? Think of it as a mix between words like "Punk'd", and "flicks."

If you want to mention this site somewhere, feel free to take a panel of any comic you like as illustration. Also, you can use the following logo:

Note: All comics on this site are parodies. They are in no way official.

As Barbara Weil Gall in What is "Fair Use" in Copyright Law? of 2000 writes:

"Fair use" is use of a copyrighted work for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, research or parody. Fair use is not an infringing use. (...)

In general, "parody" is a work that takes some of the original work and comments on the original work, usually in a satirical manner. The creator of the original work may not like it, but it is fair use, even if done for profit.
